The Most Rev Mark Strange, Bishop of Moray, Ross & Caithness and Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church has been invited to speak to the Governing Body of the Church in Wales on Wednesday 12 September. Bishop Mark has been asked to outline the process which the Scottish Episcopal Church followed in preparation for the General Synod vote last June to change the Church’s Canon on Marriage, which now permits the marriage of same gender couples in Church.
Bishop Mark says “I am absolutely delighted to respond to an invitation not just from a sister Anglican Church but also a Celtic one and I look forward to sharing our processes and experiences with them.”
