For the third Sunday of Easter, the Rt Rev Kevin Pearson, Bishop of Argyll & The Isles, celebrates the Eucharist from St John’s Cathedral, Oban this weekend.
Bishop Kevin will be joined virtually by Marion Mackay, from Stornoway, who will read the first reading in Gaelic. Also participating in the service will be Christine McIntosh, from Dunoon, and the Rev Canon Alec Boyd, from the Cathedral of the Isle, Millport, on Cumbrae.
The service will begin at 11am on April 26 and the liturgy will be available to download before the service here.
The broadcast is available for all to access on YouTube and Facebook.
The Scottish Episcopal Church website will also contain a downloadable video and audio format of the service, when these are ready. The service will be available for one week after its initial broadcast.
We encourage people to distribute the video/audio recordings and the Liturgy widely within their own personal networks. In households with no internet or playback capacity at all, if people are simply given the opportunity to read the words of the Liturgy to themselves close to the appointed time, they will be praising God along with others in the Church.
