The Very Rev Kelvin Holdsworth on the incident in Glasgow City Centre

The terrible events in the centre of Glasgow on Friday afternoon left a city in shock, with six people taken to hospital after a reported stabbing attack and a man shot dead by armed police.

The incident took place at a hotel which is currently housing asylum seekers during the coronavirus lockdown.

The Very Rev Kelvin Holdsworth, Provost of St Mary’s Cathedral in Glasgow, spoke to Channel 4 news about the anxieties of the asylum seeker and refugee community in the city.
