The Winter edition of the Provincial Youth Newsletter is now available and can be downloaded here.
This latest issue of the magazine for young people in the Scottish Episcopal Church tells how young adults have been representing the SEC on the world stage, with ‘Reflections on International Participation’ at the Lambeth Conference, the World Council of Churches and the Ecumenical Forum for European Christian Women.
Lana Woolford, a lay person and iconographer/People’s Warden at Old Saint Paul’s, Edinburgh, discusses her thought-provoking experience as a steward at the Lambeth Conference; Nicole Grant, a Provincial youth leader, looks back on her role as an intern at the European Forum; and Rachel Walker, a lay person and leader of Fife Cluster Youth Fellowship in Holy Trinity, Dunfermline, reports on representing the SEC as a delegate at the 11th Assembly of the WCC in Germany (main picture above).
There is also an appeal for new leaders for next year’s Provincial Youth Week (29 July – 5 August 2023), with a deadline for applications of 5pm on 14 December (picture below shows four leaders in action – full training will be given, but onesies are optional rather than consumpulsory); and there are details of new opportunities for youth involvement, plus Youth & Children’s ministry news.
