Doors Open Days is Scotland’s largest free festival that celebrates places and stories, new and old. This September, across the country doors will be opened wide, welcoming visitors to uncover hidden gems and experience familiar places through fresh eyes. And the best part? All Doors Open Days events and activities are free!
During Doors Open Days 2023, you can discover and experience nine Episcopal churches in the diocese, as well as a number of Episcopal churches further afield among hundreds of fantastic venues across Scotland!
Below is a list of this year’s participants from our diocese. For more information, click on each church for the relevant Doors Open Days page!
•Holy Trinity & St Barnabas, Paisley: 2nd Sept (10am-4pm).
•All Saints, Challoch: 2nd Sept (11am-4pm) and 3rd Sept (12noon-4pm).
•St Andrew’s, Ardrossan: 9th Sept (10am-2pm).
•St John’s, Greenock: 9th Sept (11am-2pm) and 10th Sept (11am-2pm).
•Holy Trinity, Ayr: 9th Sept (11am-4pm) and 10th Sept (1pm-4pm).
•Holy Trinity, Kilmarnock: 10th Sept (2pm-4pm).
•St Margaret’s, Newlands: 15th Sept (12noon-4pm); 16th Sept (12noon-4pm); and 17th Sept (12noon-4pm).
•St Bride’s, Hyndland: 16th Sept (9:30am-4:30pm) and 17th Sept (10am-5pm).
•St Ninian’s, Pollokshields: 16th Sept (10am-4pm), 17th Sept (2pm-4pm).
