Following the death of Bishop Keith Riglin, the family have announced that there will be a Sending Mass at St John’s Cathedral, Oban on Friday 27 October to which all are welcome, this will be followed by a funeral which will take place in London the following week.

The Sending Mass will begin at 12 noon at St John’s, and will be led by the Primus, the Most Rev Mark Strange, and the Provost of the Cathedral, the Very Rev Margi Campbell.

All are invited to the service, and clergy who wish to robe are requested to contact the Provost at provostoban@argyll.anglican.org.

The service will be live-streamed on the Provincial Website and social media channels.  Links to the live stream and the order of service will be available at this page in advance of the service.

Following the Sending Mass in Oban there will be a funeral which will take place the following week in London, details of which will be communicated in due course.
