This weekend (28 and 29 September 2024), St Margaret’s, Newlands will hold a special ecofestival to celebrate our beautiful world, raise awareness of how to better protect our natural environment, and consider how we can reduce our damaging impact on it.
Alistair McIntosh, an honorary professor in the School of Education at the University of Glasgow, a founding trustee of the GalGael Trust, and author of Soil and Soul, Poacher’s Pilgrimage and Riders on the Storm, will give a talk and Q&A on Saturday afternoon.
There will also be lots of workshops, stalls and activities for families. Full programme is available below (click to enlarge). Don’t miss it!
