This SEC focused webinar will provide context on funds available for works to SEC buildings, best practice for applications and provide the opportunity for all interested to ask questions.

Following this, in February, there will be an an informational session covering the processes, eligibilities and opportunities presented by the Provincial Rectory Green Fund; and a presentation from Historic Environment Scotland on Solar Panels and other energy considerations for listed church buildings.

Jack Nevin, the SEC’s Net Zero Innovation Coordinator, who has been spearheading the programme of webinars said: “I was delighted to bring together so many key figures from across the funding and heritage landscape through our webinar series in 2024. In 2025, I am thrilled to be offering an even more diverse and dynamic programme of content and engagement supporting various elements of the journey to net zero including funding, technology, building-projects and community development.

“We are committed to organising a responsive arrangement of support, providing charges with whatever resource best placed to aid their projects and sustainable initiatives. The programme of events, both online and in person, continues to evolve, and you are welcome to visit our event page for regular updates.”
