The consecration of the Rev Canon Dr Nicholas Bundock as Bishop of Glasgow & Galloway will take place on Saturday 3 May, at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow.
Nick formally accepted his election today during a visit to the General Synod Office in Edinburgh, having been elected last Saturday.
The Bishop-elect said: “As I look ahead to my consecration, I feel a profound sense of gratitude and humility for the opportunity to serve as Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway. It is an extraordinary privilege to join in God’s work in this diocese, building on its rich traditions and helping to guide its future in faith, mission, and inclusion.
“I look forward to working with clergy and laity across the diocese, strengthening relationships and listening to the unique stories and hopes of the people here. Together, I believe we can embody the love of Christ and the values of the Scottish Episcopal Church in transformative ways.”
The exact time of the service of consecration has still to be confirmed.
