Deadline approaches for feedback on experimental Collects

That experimental period for the revised Collects is coming to an end, and the deadline for submission of feedback is the end of this liturgical year: 28 November, the day before the first Sunday of Advent.

The revised Collects for Sundays, Holy Days, Saints’ Days and special occasions throughout the year were authorised for experimental use by the College of Bishops in 2015.

The Rev Dr Lisa Curtice, a member of the Provincial Liturgy Committee has recorded a short video reflecting on the Collects, and advising how best to offer feedback in the remaining weeks of the submission window.

While previous methods of feedback were based on forms with a series of questions, the liturgy committee have since opened up an email inbox (liturgy@scotland.anglican.org) for people to offer free form feedback on these collects, as well as any other experimental liturgies.

You can find the list of liturgies authorised for experimental use here.
