For the sixth Sunday of Easter, the Rt Rev Andrew Swift, Bishop of Brechin, celebrates the Eucharist from his home in Dundee.
Bishop Andrew will be joined virtually by the Very Rev Canon Fay Lamon, Dean of the Diocese of Brechin who will preach the sermon.
The readings and intercessions come from different locations in the Diocese of Brechin. The readers and intercessors are Jean Fenwick, Thomas Young, Kirsty Pilcher and Robin Pilcher.
The service will begin at 11am on May 17 and the liturgy will be available to download before the service.
The broadcast is available for all to access on YouTube and Facebook. Subtitles are available on both platforms, if selected by the user. Look for the CC icon at the bottom of the display screen on YouTube; on facebook, go to Settings, then Video, then select Always Show Captions.
Links to the broadcast will be available on the SEC website before the service.
The Scottish Episcopal Church website will also contain a downloadable video and audio format of the service, when these are ready. The service will be available for one week after its initial broadcast.
We encourage people to distribute the video/audio recordings and the Liturgy widely within their own personal networks. In households with no internet or playback capacity at all, if people are simply given the opportunity to read the words of the Liturgy to themselves close to the appointed time, they will be praising God along with others in the Church.
