Diocesan Environmental Group Joins Christmas Tree Festival at Johnstone

The Diocesan Environmental Group was invited to decorate a tree for the Christmas Tree Festival at St John’s, Johnstone.

Members of the group took the opportunity to put words into action: the living tree used will be replanted after the festival, the decorations were made from natural and upcycled materials, and there are cards available for people’s prayers for Creation. Alongside the tree, there are some of the new Eco-Advent resources produced by the group that you can find on our website HERE.

You can see the Environmental Group tree and visit the rest of the festival tomorrow, Sunday 3rd Dec from 4pm, and on Wednesdays 6th and 13th Dec from 1pm to 6pm at St John’s, Floors Street, PA5 8QS, Johnstone.
