The Rt Rev Andrew Swift, Bishop of Brechin announced on Sunday 6 April that the Rev Roxanne Campbell will be the next Provost of St Paul’s Cathedral, Dundee.
In a statement Rev Roxanne said: “It is an honour to be appointed the next Provost of this Cathedral. Having journeyed alongside the faithful and vibrant community that is St. Paul’s for several years, I am looking forward with joy to continuing to serve alongside you and exploring together how we might grow ever more fully into our calling as a Cathedral for this city — a place of welcome, witness, and hope at the heart of Dundee.”
Bishop Andrew said: “Roxanne is a very gifted priest with extensive experience both in her ordained ministry in this Diocese and in her previous secular career. I am very aware of all she has been doing to support you in your vacancy and also to develop areas of the cathedral such as your work on step free access. All the candidates the vestry and I met were priests who would bring great gifts and vision to the cathedral, but it was very clear that Roxanne’s experiences and abilities are exemplary and such an excellent fit for the community and mission of St Paul’s!
“The details of dates and timings for her service of institution will be worked out in the next little while, so please watch out for details.”
