New Rector Appointed for All Saints, Lockerbie and St John’s, Moffat

The Rt Rev Dr Nicholas Bundock, Bishop of the United Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway, is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev Vittoria Hancock as Rector (0.6fte) of All Saints, Lockerbie and St John’s, Moffat. Her Institution will be on Tuesday, 14 October 2025, at 7pm in St John’s Church, Moffat.

Vittoria says: “I am excited to be joining the congregations of All Saints, Lockerbie and St John’s, Moffat as their Rector. I look forward to getting to know them and their communities and working alongside them as we explore our ministry and mission together. I wait with eager anticipation to see where God may lead us. It is with pleasure that I will join the United Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway at this time of change and renewal.”

Bishop Nick says, “I’m delighted to welcome Vittoria to this diocese. We are entering into a period of renewal and forward momentum and Vittoria brings experience and a passion for mission. I very much look forward to working with her as a colleague and I know that people of Moffat and Lockerbie are very excited!”
