BBC broadcasts from Melrose and Eoropaidh

The Rev Philip Blackledge will lead worship on BBC Radio Scotland this weekend.

Rev Blackledge hosts New Every Sunday from Holy Trinity in Melrose, at 7.30am on Sunday. It will be available again shortly after broadcast on the BBC website, here.

The programme also came from Melrose last weekend, when Rev Blackledge welcomed Gaudete Sunday, also known as Rejoicing Sunday. You can listen again to last week’s programme here.

Meanwhile, St Moluag’s at Eoropaidh on the Isle of Lewis will feature on BBC One’s Countryfile this weekend. In a Christmas special of the popular programme, presenter John Craven explores the ancient tradition of Gaelic psalm singing, and as part of the item, renowned Gaelic composer Calum Martin was interviewed at St Moluag’s in late November.

Countryfile is on BBC One at 5.40pm on Sunday 20 December. More details are available here.
